In 2020, it was a difficult time for all of us. Here at Groupe Laudie, we have partnered with a local professional cyclist James Piccoli to raise funds to donate needed masks and sanitary supplies to facilities around Montreal.

We selected these facilities based on the needs of CHSLD, hospitals, and NPOs such as homeless shelters.

The fundraiser was held at a famous hill climb for all cyclists on Chemin Camelien-Houde on Mont-Royal, in Montreal

For this fundraiser, James tackled this famous climb for 12 hours, during which he finally cycled for 330km. He was inspired by his girlfriend, a nurse at the Montreal Children's Hospital, and her colleagues who were working 12-hour shifts.

James set a goal of 3 000$, and here at Groupe Laudie, we have set to donate a list of our most effective cleaning products and solutions for all facilities in need.

In the end, we have raised over 20 000$- which is simply astonishing! With those funds and with a generous contribution from Soapopular, we were able to secure the following:

12 550 3-ply mask

1 1540 mask KN95

732 bottles of Soapopular hand sanitizer

192 5L bottles of concentrated industrial disinfectant- Dustbane Vanguard (good for 15 000 litres of ready-to-use product)

195 5L bottles of concentrated industrial disinfectant- Groupe Laudie Germinal (good for 7500 litres of ready-to-use product)

This represents a market value of just over 40 000$!

All said and done; these supplies made their way to healthcare centres, homeless shelters and citizens who need them most. Every penny donated made a huge impact, and we can't thank you enough!
